ASSISTANT PURCHASERS / PURCHASERS (FOOD SUPPLY)

Responsibilities:

• Processing of enquiries and understanding client’s requirements and needs.
• Sourcing of supplies and vendor management.
• Preparation of quotations.
• Co-ordinating with internal / external parties to ensure prompt delivery.

Pre-requisite:

• Relevant experience in purchasing, in ship-chandling environment an added advantage.
• Aggressive with good interpersonal skills.
• Able to work long hours and cope with tight delivery schedules.
• Computer literate.
• Fresh Diploma holders are welcomed. Training will be provided.

DELIVERY ASSISTANTS (DAILY-RATED)

The incumbent will assist in the daily general stores duties involving receiving, packing and issuing and delivery of goods.

The incumbent should possess the following qualities :
• Able to work long hours with minimum supervision
• Must be physically healthy
• Singapore / Permanent Residents
• Class 3 driving licence added advantage

TRAINEES (MANAGEMENT / PURCHASING)

The incumbent will join us and go through a dedicated period of designed training programmes in the various divisions and departments of the Company to familiarise with our marine-supply trade and business operations. The Management will then conduct evaluation and appraisal with the trainee and designate him with the appropriate duties and responsibilities which includes long term career development opportunities.

• Minimum GCE 'O' level
• Knowledge in basic use of computers
• Pleasant disposition and meticulous at work
• Keen learner, independent & able to work efficiently under pressure
